November 6, 2016
Our day has been compromised of I-25 traffic, crossword puzzles, long TSA lines, trying to be productive, and bad airport Chinese food. As the delegation representing China in Munom, the food was especially problematic. After a very relaxed first day, we are awaiting to board our flight to Reykjavik, and will all hopefully be able to sleep a few hours.
Boarding now, check in tomorrow! -- Elena
After 12 hours of flying and a short layover in Raykjavik, Iceland, we landed in Munich, Germany at noon today. Franny and Tuna welcomed us at the airport! We reached our apartment and met with our friendly host. In the afternoon, we walked around the neighborhood and went to a local shopping center to eat dinner and buy breakfast for the week. Although it is windy, wet, and chilly in Munich, the fall scenery with golden leaves is very beautiful. We had some traditional German food and bought chocolate in the market.
We have been collaborating on finalizing our Opening Speeches and Position Papers, and came up with the following slogan that we, the Delegation of China, will use as our new battle cry! "peaceful, cooperative, effective change" , Go Kodiaks!
