Join us for a lively exploration of "Eastern Europe in the 21st Century" on Thursday, February 9th, 2017 at 7:00pm. This event is free of charge. We will be serving desserts and coffee before the presentation; donations welcomed.
All donations received will go toward our CSS Model United Nations Club to assist us in offering future events in our Speaker's List Series.
Objective:
Model United nations is an international high school club in which students are encouraged to debate current events in a formal setting, emulating United Nations Headquarters. The Colorado Springs School invites you to our second Speaker's List, an interactive community event with the purpose of increasing global awareness.
Guest Speaker:
Dr. Gould is a profess of Political Science at Colorado College where he specializes in Slovak and Czech politics, and has (co)published refereed journal articles in Comparative European Politics, Europe-Asia Studies, Business and Politics, Global Governance and Review of International Political Economy in addition to writing a book, The Politics of Privatization: Wealth and Power in Post-communist Europe.
